I was just reading an article today about the TransUnion Lawsuit. In case you did not know, TransUnion is a credit reporting company that was found to have illegally sold confidential credit information to target marketing companies in the United States between the years 1987 and 2000. I guess just about everyone is aware of the fact that disclosure of such personal information is a direct violation of the Federal Credit Reporting Act. A large segment of the American population was effected by this illegal action is entitled to monetary damages from a pre-established $75 million fund. If you are one of those that had applied for credit in the United States between 1987 and 2000, you probably have a claim against TransUnion. You can find out by filling O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath's intake form for a free consultation.
