I spent a few weeks visiting Jamaica during my all inclusive vacation at Breezes Resorts a few months ago. We rented a car and toured at Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, Kingston, Mandeville, Bluefields on the south coast and Negril. All this, and there were still parts we didn't have time to visit. I would recommend Breezes all inclusive resorts if you want to experience a bit of the real Jamaica in a safe family-friendly setting. The staff there is excellent and will make sure that your whole family enjoys themselves. Their all inclusive vacations are widely considered to be the best. Ocho Rios is a good option to stay at as there are many things to do there. Treasure beach is a beautiful location on the south coast of Jamaica. It's peaceful, safe, and a great place to chill. It rarely rains there, and is a desert climate. Some days you may be the only ones on the beach and even during peak season you will not find the beaches of treasure beach over crowded. If you are looking for something that is truly a Jamaican experience, then do consider it. A favorite and a not to be missed experience is to take a boat ride to the pelican bar and up the black river to the largest wetlands in all of Jamaica and see some crocodiles. It's not uncommon to have some dolphins join you along the way! There are many other excursions that you can take from there - lovers leap, ys falls and appelton rum. You can also see the bamboo alley, little ochi, etc.
