      Calling All Parents!

It’s that time of the year again when the traveling bug inevitably strikes me. So, with the multitude of things to keep in mind to keep traveling safe and fun, I always prepare beforehand and follow all the good tips I can find, such as those in Reader's Digest online at www.RD.com.

Theirs is a one-stop site for making the most of your family time, as they have numerous tips on how to create a happy, healthy and stress-free household. They have tips for Summer Fun, Travel Tips, and a whole lot more for the whole family.

The two sections which I frequent the most are RD.com - Parenting and RD.com - Family Life.

If you’re traveling with your family this summer, you won't want to miss out on their tips for healthy travel, stress-free vacations and the very best games to keep the whole gang occupied on a road trip.

I found their Health Tips For Trips especially useful and plan on using the tips. This is definitely a "Must Read” for everyone. Why? Well, all the points are extremely relevant, such as getting tetanus/flu shots before going on a trip, packing medicines and first aid, fighting off jet lag and motion sickness, and knowing where to find a doctor in a foreign country (should the need arise). These points can apply to everyone’s experiences or summer plans and, no doubt, can make just about anyone a smart and expert traveler.

I must admit, RD.com really inspires me to make every second of my family time meaningful and enjoyable!
