If my pants could talk, they’d say…

Working long hours while blogging on my laptop requires some comfy clothes. I have a particular pair of pants which are so very comfortable that I wear them all the time. They’re the stretch type (they have some lycra too) and I could even sleep in them! But supposing that I stop selfishly thinking only about how comfortable I am, and instead, wonder how my pants feel (if they actually had feelings)? Crazy as this sounds, I got to thinking about this when I came across the Dockers contest.

When you participate in their contest, they essentially ask you “What would a day in the life of your pants be like?”

Well, if you were to ask this question to my favorite pants, this is probably what they’d say: “Oh, it’s not an easy life, this life that I’ve got. With the amount of stretching, pulling, and wear and tear that I go through, I really have to work hard to maintain my seams and still look fresh the whole day long. I am often worn day in, day out, and also day after day. Then I undergo repeated torture in the washing machine where I am scrubbed, drained and spun repeatedly. After all of that, I am still able to not only survive, but also look impeccable and even better than my much-less worn counterparts. So don’t underestimate me - I’m not my owner’s favorite pants for nothing!”

Whew! What a life my pants have got, isn’t it? I would love to read about your stories about your pants too, so get going and submit your stories the Dockers TV Commercial Contest (www.nbc.com/Dockers). You can also submit your stories as videos over there.
